From Adversity to Preparedness

My journey began with a life-altering car accident in 1967, just before embarking on a university adventure. The collision left me with a broken arm that healed crookedly, 300 stitches on the lip, and a tale of resilience etched on my body. With cuts on the nose, eyebrow, right elbow, and the back of the hand, I faced a year of Frankenstein stitches before undergoing another operation to reduce the scars. Adding to the journey, I nearly lost a front tooth, leading to a few months with braces.

Despite these challenges, I emerged as a survivor and an unwavering force. Like the Energizer Bunny, I keep on going, proving that adversity is but a stepping stone to strength.
